Temporary Road Closure: Old Bristol Road, Charlton Horethorne

Please be aware that we have received notification of a temporary road closure at Old Bristol Road, Charlton Horethorne for approximately 1578 metres, which will commence on 29th April 2026 and is expected to last until 3rd May 2026 (between 07:00 to 19:00hrs). These works are for Kiely Bros to carry out phased work including surface dressing, application of Kiely Lock and associated works such as stud removal/renewal and lining works on behalf of Somerset Highways. Solid diamond symbolization will be used on the diversion route. Their works reference is LG018SD001350-SD-01.
The road will be reopened when no works are taking place. Signage will be placed on site. There may be a need for additional closures at a later date and if so, a noticfication will be sent for these.
